On 24 Mar 1878 in the Catholic Parish of Addergole, Mayo, Ireland (FHL film#1279205) we find the birth record of Cecilia Veronica McHale daughter of James McHale and Jane Cawley. This may have very well been the home parish for a lot of family, as you will notice on the page alone how many family surnames are present.
Cecilia is the mother-in-law of John Dennis Quinn.

Patrick Quinn and family arrive in America

On 28 September 1923 the majority of the family of Patrick and Mary Quinn arrived in New York City. Sailing from Southampton, England, they arrived on the S.S. President Harding.On board were in addition to Patrick and Mary were four of their children. Those children were Mary, Bridget, James and Daniel.

On the ship manifest (FHL film#1,756,098) they all listed their destination as 331 Lafayette Ave, the home of their son and brother Joseph.

1911 Ireland Census for Joseph and Rose Devlin Quinn


The 1911 Census of Ireland (picture at right) shows the family of Joseph Quinn and his wife Rose Devlin and three of their children.
